I know this is like posted in all groups, but just to remind our members about it! Please be aware of the rules and regulations to avoid getting a bunch of notifications and warnings about it.
Be sure to invite people to join this group if it catches their interest. Appointing a friend is free, but please make sure they follow the group's rules.
Always remember that we can notify you when you have done something that conflicts with the rules. Don't be scared, not all notifications we give are negative. Plus we will let you know if it's a warning or not. Always prepare for good or bad news.
Here are the rules, even though they are posted at HOME. There would be explanation for each rule in here than what you see every time you check Crime Sorcière. Read carefully to understand why we want you to follow them, please.
1. Always follow the orders of the Founder. - Of course. This is the main rule because the Founder or Founders would be the ones giving orders. Don't worry, they are not that bossy. If they do get a little too far, we have rules of our own here, so we could simply notify them too.
2. Do not fight with the other members. - This could cause not only trouble in the group but also invading others' personal and emotional space. We could avoid this by not criticizing the works of others.
3. Be aware of plagiarism. - Plagiarism is one of the main crimes done in the Internet, which can be applied in real life. A lot of people do plagiarism nowadays, and let's try not to. The group is trying the best it can to have its own originality and that includes the members and the artwork they contribute. Give credit to even the littlest thing you do not own in your artwork. Please understand this, it could lead to serious jail.
4. Do not take credit for artwork that isn't yours. - It is also just like plagiarism except this is a bit too far. It's like OWNING the things you don't. We're counting on the members to please take credit for their own work and as much as possible, give the original credit to the real artist.
5. Do not use inappropriate words in your art or comments within the group. - We all know that children nowadays can stay in the internet and probably we wouldn't want their parents to go invading our houses because of what they negatively learned. Alright, to get this straight, do not say bad words wherever, whenever.
6. Do not criticize others' artwork. - This is actually cyber bullying and criticizing. Some people are sensitive, and we do not want to get reported by just saying that their work is ugly. Even if you speak the truth, you should keep it to yourself and just shut up.
7. Contribute at least one artwork to the group. - We need this for all the members. Please contribute at least a single deviation even if it's off-topic. We have a folder for those kinds of artwork if you want it featured.
8. Be polite to the administrators of the group. - How do you be polite? Please do not address us as 'ma'ams' or 'sirs'. Some of you might be probably older than us and we expect you to just at least follow us, and that's it. You don't have to say inappropriate words that could hurt some of the administrators. Trust me, some are really unstable.
9. As much as possible, speak English please. - This isn't much of a rule, but we need the members to speak English so we could understand them. Speaking of other language is not allowed. Unless they are just short Japanese terms such as 'gomenasai' or 'baka'.
10. Do not be a racist to other members. - Racism could get you kicked out here any minute. We accept all kinds of members from White to Asian. We do not discriminate or make fun of other people's culture and race.
11. Be patient of submitting artwork. - Some of us administrators aren't really online often. Bear with us when you want to contribute, please have patience. We admit that we sometimes are slow but don't withdraw them too fast. You could miss your chance of being featured in this group.
And that is all, people. We are counting on you to be at least responsible enough to follow what is stated above.
